Why Cheap Mattresses Are More Expensive
Before I begin let me preface this article by saying I am not a mattress salesman. Although I do not sell mattresses I have a passion for helping people sleep well and get the maximum benefit from getting the correct amount of quality sleep every night.
Everyone wants a bargain. All to often shoppers that are looking to buy a new mattress want to know where they can get a cheap deal. I believe there are several good reasons why cheap mattresses are not worth the money and i will list them below.
OK to help illustrate what I mean consider these facts;
Assuming you get the recommended eight hours of sleep per night you’ll spend about one third of your living time in bed. Does it therefore make sense that most people spend lots of money on buying a nice car or an expensive foreign holiday while at the same time scrimping on a cheap uncomfortable mattress?
It makes so much sense to spend a little extra to get a top quality mattress seeing as how much time you’ll be spending on it.
One of the main factors that make some mattresses cheaper than others is down to the quality of materials used. Cheaper materials are proven not to last as long as quality ones. As a result cheaper mattresses will need to be replaced much more frequently than a good quality one. The net result is that in the long run you’ll probably end up spending the same amount of money.
I heard a great quote once that went like this “Always buy a good pair of shoes and a good bed as if you aren’t in one you are in the other.” I’m not sure who the quote was by but it couldn’t be more true. In order t get the most from your body it is surely worth investing in things you spend so much of you living life.
